Refuge Egypt is a Christian aid and development organization based at All Saints' Cathedral in Zamalek, Cairo. We are a ministry of the Episcopal/Anglican Diocese of Egypt. Refuge Egypt provides humanitarian assistance, medical care, education, self reliance programs, spiritual guidance, and encouragement to newly arrived asylum seekers and refugees in Cairo. We seek to serve refugees regardless of background or religion.

OUR MISSION:

Refuge Egypt serves asylum seekers and refugees living in Egypt who have fled their country due to war or disaster, and who have well-founded fears of return due to persecution or loss of rights, by providing humanitarian assistance, spiritual guidance and encouragement to help build self-sufficiency and self-respect in preparation for repatriation, resettlement, or integration into Egyptian society.
