MEDICAL SERVICES
Access to quality medical care and psychosocial support is a particular challenge for refugees living in Egypt. Mainstream medical services are not attentive to the needs of refugees, and with limited personal resources, many issues simply go untreated.
Our broad medical program delivers accessible and comprehensive health care for refugees in Cairo and Alexandria, with qualified doctors, nurses, counsellors, community health workers, and volunteers.
Our services included comprehensive maternal health clinics, HIV counseling and testing, TB and HIV clinics, malnutrition clinics, Well Baby and Well Child Clinics, as well as general physicals and check-ups.

CLINICS
Refuge Egypt delivers accessible and comprehensive health care for refugees in Cairo, under the leadership of Dr. Eman Kamal, with qualified doctors, nurses, counsellors, community health workers, and volunteers. Our medical doctors provide primary health care services to refugees in Egypt, and give referrals to other trusted health care providers.
We have 4 clinics across the Greater Cairo area—in Zamalek, Arba wa Nous, Maadi and 6th October city. These clinics have a particular focus on maternal health, HIV counseling and testing, TB, malnutrition, as well as offering general physical check-ups.
WELL BABY
& WELL CHILD CLINICS
The Well Baby/Well Child Clinics, in our four clinics throughout Cairo and the Happy Child Preschool in Maadi, monitor children from birth to five years. The clinics ensure that children develop according to growth bench marks established by WHO and screen for common diseases such as malnutrition and rickets, as well as psychosocial problems.
